The right of way being vacated is a component of the Seaway Transit Center project. The project is designed to improve transit options for the residents of Everett and the entire region,providing them a connection to the Paine Field/Boeing manufacturing center in south Everett through expanded services by Community Transit's Swift II Bus Rapid Transit(BRT) service and Everett Transit service. Notice was provided and on August 23,2017, a public hearing to consider the proposed vacation was held and no public comments were received.
