4. Corrective Action, Deadline <br /> The respondent must complete the following corrective actions to eliminate the <br /> above listed conditions: <br /> a. The Respondent must apply for and obtain all of the necessary and <br /> required permits from the City Building Division to restore the structure <br /> and bring it into compliance with the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> b. The roof of the structure must be properly repaired or replaced and have <br /> the work inspected and approved by the building division and; <br /> C. The Respondent must have the exterior paint surfaces on the structure <br /> properly sanded and prepared and then have a proper and effective paint <br /> treatment or other permissible surface treatment or material applied to <br /> the surface to protect the structure from the elements OR <br /> d. The Respondent must board up the structure in compliance with Appendix <br /> A of the International Property Maintenance Code. If the Respondent <br /> chooses to properly board up the structure, the structure can only remain <br /> boarded up for a period of one (1) year. At the end of that one year, the <br /> Respondent must either obtain permission from the City of Everett <br /> Building Official to extend the boarding time limit; or the Respondent must <br /> apply for and obtain a permit and then demolish the structure in <br /> compliance with the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> e. The vacant structure must be board up and secured against <br /> unauthorized entry immediately. <br /> f. Permits to repair or to demolish the structure must be secured no later <br /> than March 1, 2012. Work must be completed within the time <br /> frames allowed under permit. <br /> S. Agreed Order <br /> If the respondent is not a Repeat Violator (see Paragraph 1) and has completed <br /> the minimum corrective action described in this citation, he/she is eligible to <br /> enter into an agreed order with the city.
