Everett Police Department <br /> -' 11 Code Enforcement Unit <br /> October 25, 2011 Case Number: CE11-0596 <br /> Randi Hespelt <br /> PO Box 7012 <br /> San Mateo, CA 94403 <br /> Randi Hespelt <br /> 408 La Casa Ave <br /> San Mateo, CA 94403 <br /> Dear Ms. Hespelt <br /> A recent inspection of your property located at 5716 Wetmore Avenue revealed the <br /> following violations of the Everett Municipal Code (EMC) and the International Property <br /> Maintenance Code (IPMC). <br /> EMC 8.22.030 provides that the storage of junk or otherwise inoperable vehicles upon <br /> private property within the city limits is a public nuisance and is prohibited. <br /> Section 8,22,030 applies to the 1982 Ford Pickup stored on your property <br /> because it is without current license and has not moved for a long period of <br /> time. Therefore the vehicle is incapable of operating legally on a public street <br /> or highway. <br /> IPMC 304.2 Protective treatment. All exterior surfaces, including but not limited to, <br /> doors, door and window frames, cornices, porches, trim, balconies, decks and fences, <br /> shall be maintained in good condition. Exterior wood surfaces, other than decay <br /> resistant woods, shall be protected from the elements and decay by painting or other <br /> protective covering or treatment. Peeling, flaking and chipping paint shall be eliminated <br /> and surfaces repainted. All siding and masonry joints, as well as those between the <br /> building envelope and the perimeter of windows, doors and skylights, shall be <br /> maintained weather resistant and water tight. <br /> IPMC 304.6 Exterior walls.
