Everett Po/ice Department <br /> Code Enforcement Unit <br /> October 11, 2016 CASE #CE15-0243 <br /> Property Owner <br /> Gary Robins <br /> 292016 th Street <br /> Everett, WA 98201 <br /> Notice provided to; <br /> Megan Robins <br /> 292016 th Street <br /> Everett, WA 98201 <br /> RE: 2920 16th Street, Everett, WA 98201 <br /> NOTICE OF CONDEMNATION <br /> Greetings, <br /> On October 1, 2015, the Everett City Violations Hearing Examiner issued an order finding that <br /> the above-referenced property was unlawful, due to unpermitted alterations that were done <br /> contrary to law. A copy of the order is attached and incorporated herein by reference. To date <br /> no work has been done to eliminate the violations of Section 108 of the IPMC. A recent <br /> inspection revealed that the structure contains hazardous electrical equipment that renders the <br /> structure Unsafe and Unfit for Human Occupancy, pursuant to Section 108 of the International <br /> Property Maintenance Code as adopted by the City of Everett (the "IPMC'. Due to the <br /> conditions described more fully in the order the entire structure on the property referenced <br /> above is unlawful, unsafe and unfit for human occupancy pursuant to Sections 108.1.1 and <br /> 108.1.3. and 108.1.4 of the IPMC. <br /> Pursuant Section 108 of the IPMC the City will condemn the entire structure on this property <br /> on October 11, 1016, if the conditions violating Section 108 of the IPMC, which are more fully <br /> set out in the Final Order of the Everett Hearings Examiner dated October 1, 2015 are not <br /> abated in their entirety. Lawfully abating the violations includes, but is not limited to, obtaining <br /> any necessary building permits, final inspections, and approval for occupancy from the Building <br /> Division. <br /> The entire structure must be vacated no later than October 18, 2016, if you have not <br /> complied with this Notice of Condemnation, including obtaining approval for occupancy from the <br /> Building Division. <br /> Any legal tenants affected by the condemnation must be re-located in accordance with the <br /> provisions of the Washington State Landlord-Tenant Act, RCW 59.18. <br /> Everett Police Department,Code Enforcement Unit•3002 Wetmore Ave• Everett, WA 98201 •425-257-8560 <br /> �/L <br />
