2017 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> Department Tally Sheet Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-14 Police Amendment-Marine Patrol Grant 031A 23,310 <br /> GGA-14 General Fund Amendment-Marine Patrol Grant 002A 23,310 <br /> The Police Department(EPD)has been awarded a$23,310 grant from the Washington State Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission(the Commission). The award is to reimburse costs of on-the-water patrols and boating education <br /> classes. The application and program approval establishes the framework between the Commission and the EPD <br /> for accomplishing the patrols, classes,and special emphasis enforcement. The ultimate goals of the activities are <br /> to reduce injury from boating incidents and to promote a safe and enjoyable boating environment for all users. <br /> Council approved application and acceptance of this grant at the January 25, 2017,Council meeting. <br /> Increase grant revenue 002 3336702400 23,310 <br /> Increase overtime budget 031 5210000120 23,310 <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-15 Police Amendment-Homeland Security Grant 031A 25,000 <br /> GGA-15 General Fund Amendment-Homeland Security Grant 002A 25,000 <br /> The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Urban Area Security Initiative and Snohomish County Department of <br /> Emergency Management are providing funds to enhance the capability of state and local governments to make <br /> measurable progress toward meeting the National Preparedness Guidelines.
