• <br /> In addition there shall be added a filtration charge of$.26 per 100 cubic feet, $1.56 minimum. <br /> 2. Master Meters <br /> a. Master meter rates shall be required for water districts, water associations or other <br /> organizations providing water service to 100 or more permanent services. <br /> Organizations serving less than 100 services and all other customers shall be charged <br /> at the individual meter rate. <br /> b. The consumption charges for master meters shall be as follows: <br /> For master meters connected east of the Snohomish River the water charge <br /> shall be: <br /> Meter Charge $ 150.00 monthly <br /> Water Charge .20 per 100 cu. ft. <br /> In addition to said water charge there shall be added a filtration charge of$.26 per 100 cu. ft. to <br /> arrive at the total monthly charge. The minimum monthly charge shall be: <br /> Water $ 150.00 <br /> Filtration 130.00 <br /> ii. For master meters connected west of the Snohomish River,the charge shall <br /> be as follows: <br /> Basic Charge: <br /> (without pumping) $.49 per 100 cu. ft. <br /> (with pumping) $.59 per 100 cu. ft. <br /> plus the <br /> Filtration Charge: $.26 per 100 cu. ft. <br /> Section 7: State Utility Tax. The Mayor is authorized to increase or decrease the water charges <br /> herein to reflect any change in the State of Washington tax on water system revenues (currently set at 5.029% <br /> of system revenues). <br /> Section 8: On February 1, 1992, and thereafter on a biannual basis, the Utilities Superintendent <br /> shall submit a review and report of the financial condition of the water utility and City Council shall consider <br /> adjustment of rates, based on then current costs including but not limited to changes in the AFSCME Labor <br /> Relations agreement wage provisions for the position of Utility Laborer. <br /> Section 9: Future Rate Increases. Future increases in the rates charged herein (except the State <br /> of Washington tax on system revenues) may be increased by City Council resolution subject to public hearing <br /> and notice by publication thereof at least two weeks in advance of approval of said resolution. <br /> Ml:ke/sa:ryordS <br /> 12 <br />
