Review utility as-built records to assist in mapping utility lines provided by the
client and the local utility providers.
3. Establish a project network of inter-visible horizontal control points tied to
existing site control network sufficient for the topographic and future
construction of the project.
4. The survey will be on NAVD88 vertical datum and match existing on site
control.
5. Provide a topographic survey of the site plus 75-100 feet outside of the project
area and other key utilities and buildings near the project site as directed by
engineering team.
6. Transfer field data to AutoCAD Civil 3D system and prepare base mapping with
a contour interval of one foot which reflects the topographic and physical
information collected. A copy of field data system will be provided in AutoCAD
to two-dimensional format as requested.
7. Surface features: overhead power lines and marked underground utility lines,
ground-level exterior building corners, vaults, power poles, walkways, retaining
walls, signs, paths, and parking areas.
E. Geotechnical Engineering:
1. It is anticipated that existing geotechnical reports developed for this facility will be
available for use in this work.
2. Services will include one 80ft-deep boring to evaluate subsurface conditions at the
location of proposed new generator pads and control building.
3. Laboratory testing will be performed to develop recommendations for design and
construction of foundations for the planned improvements.
4. The results of the explorations, tests, analysis, and recommendations will be
presented in a geotechnical report.
F. Mechanical Engineering:
1. Heating, ventilating, and exhaust system design, in compliance with minimum
requirements of IBC, IMC, UPC,WAC, State of Washington Energy Code.
2. Plumbing: Plumbing design, cold water, building drainage systems, and roof
drainage system.
3. Generator set fuel storage, piping, fuel polishing and pumping system, with leak
