1 <br /> ' 7. Protect permanent drain inlets—C.O.E. #212—BMP#220 or `catch basin sock' <br /> 8. Stabilize channels and outlets—straw wattles-BMP C235 shall be used as needed. <br /> 9. Control Pollutants—BMP-C151-Concrete Handling will be employed if concrete <br /> ' washout is required for trucks, hand tools, equipment, etc. One such BMP is a <br /> portable industrial washout containment system, by `ECO-PAN' or equal. BMPs <br /> such as spill kits, liquid-tight drip pans, 5-gallon capacity absorbent pads used at <br /> refueling locations. <br /> 10. Control dewatering—no dewatering is anticipated. <br /> ' 11. Maintain BMPs—the contractor shall inspect and maintain constructed BMPs. <br /> BMPs shall be adjusted as needed. BMPs shall be removed within 30 days after <br /> project completion and the City has determined that the site has been stabilized. <br /> ' 12. Manage the Project—Since the area of disturbance is not anticipated to be one or <br /> more acres, a certified CESCL is not required. However the Contractor shall <br /> provide on-going inspection, maintenance and adjustment of BMPs to ensure <br /> ' compliance. <br /> The following information has been provided as a general guide for SWPPP <br /> ' management: <br /> BMPs and Plan Implementation and Monitoring <br /> The applicant will designate a SWPPP manager who will be available on a 24-hour basis to <br /> implement and monitor the BMPs. The SWPPP calls for traditional BMPs such as silt <br /> fences, and a construction entrance. <br /> ' Monitoring and Maintenance Program <br /> As mentioned above, the applicant's SWPPP superintendent will be available on a 24-hour <br /> ' basis to direct his team in system implementation and monitoring. <br /> ' A typical monitoring/maintenance program will include, but not be limited to: <br /> • Monitor the discharge turbidity for compliance, record the value in log form and report to <br /> the agency inspector(daily) <br /> ' • Perform routine plumbing inspections (daily) <br /> • Check system flow rates (daily) <br /> • Watch water levels in settling pond to assure pumping schedule will prevent overflow <br /> ' (daily) <br /> • Check sediment levels in settling ponds (weekly) <br /> • Check pump and mechanical system(daily) <br /> ' • Inspect the biofiltration system to assure proper functioning(weekly) <br /> The SWPPP manager will maintain adequate supplies, backup power and equipment/supplies <br /> ' onsite 24-hours a day for emergencies. <br /> ' OCE Pioneer Cable parking <br /> Drainage report rev.#1 February,2016 <br /> OCE job#1509 December,2015 <br />
