A . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. `-110 - "(Q <br /> An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett <br /> as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 rezoning 1.9 acres, <br /> located on the east side of Elm Street, between View Ridge Drive <br /> and 45th Street SW, lots 30 to 36 inclusive of View Ridge Addition <br /> from R-3 (Multiple Family, Medium Density) <br /> to R-1 (Single Family, Detached, Low Density). <br /> WHEREAS, on March 30, 1990, the City of Everett received an <br /> application for the rezone of an area generally described as the east side <br /> of Elm Street, between View Ridge Drive and 45th Street SW, lots 30 to 36 <br /> inclusive of View Ridge Addition, from R-3 (Multiple Family Medium Density) <br /> to R-1 (Single Family Detached Low Density); and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 19, 1990, the City of Everett Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing on the proposed rezone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, based upon findings contained in <br /> Planning Commission Resolution No. 90-7 did recommend that the City <br /> Council approve the requested rezone; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: The City Council does hereby find that the zoning change <br /> hereinafter set forth for the property legally described and generally shown <br /> on the map in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> reference, is consistent with the applicable provisions of the Everett <br /> General Plan; bears a substantial relation to the public health, safety and <br /> welfare; and promotes the best long-term interests of the Everett Community. <br /> Section 2: The property described in Exhibit 1 is hereby subject to <br /> the regulations of the R-1 (Single Family Detached, Low Density) zone. <br /> �' I <br />
