• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. /,2,"." 74.0 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett <br /> as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, EMC) <br /> to encompass an area east of 19th Avenue SE (SR 527) <br /> and south of 96th Place SE. <br /> � I <br /> REZONE #11-89 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on January 9, 1990, the Everett <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the <br /> zoning designation for the hereinafter described property annexed to the <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett, after hearing the <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission, has determined that said <br /> property should be zoned R-1, Single Family Low Density Residential. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning <br /> change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett <br /> and meets the purpose of the General Plan as amended by Resolution <br /> No. 33$AL . <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, as amended (Title 19, <br /> Everett Municipal Code), is hereby amended by the addition of the following: <br /> LEGAL DESCRIPTION: <br /> That portion of Section 17, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , <br /> described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the northwest corner of the north half of the <br /> south half of the north half of the southwest quarter of the <br /> southwest quarter of said Section 17; THENCE, east along the <br /> north line of said subdivision of said section to the <br /> northeast corner of the west 50 feet of Lot 1, Plat of Saundar <br /> Estates, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 39 <br /> of Plats, Page 181, records of Snohomish County, Washington; <br /> THENCE, south along the east line of said west 50 feet of said <br /> Lot 1 to intersect the south line of the north half of the <br /> south half of the north half of the southwest quarter of the <br /> southwest quarter of said Section 17; THENCE, west along said <br /> south line of said subdivision of said section to the <br /> southwest corner thereof; THENCE, north along the west line of <br /> said subdivision of said section to the northwest corner <br /> thereof, the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />
