ORDINANCE NO. /YQ 7--90 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, EMC) to encompass an area located west of Airport Road on former Paine Field Airport property. REZONE #12-89 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on January 9, 1990, the Everett Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the zoning designation for the hereinafter described property annexed to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett, after hearing the recommendations of the Planning Commission, has determined that said property should be zoned M-2, Heavy Manufacturing Use. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett and meets the purpose of the General Plan as amended by Resolution No. 3 / Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code), is hereby amended by the addition of the following: LEGAL DESCRIPTION The north half of the southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , described as follows: BEGINNING at the northwest corner of said southeast quarter of said Section 15; THENCE, South 01° 06' 24" West along the westerly line of said southeast quarter a distance of 1165.00 feet; THENCE, South 88° 45' 43" East on a line parallel with the north line of said southeast quarter a distance of 2546.89 feet to a point 120.00 feet west of the east line of said quarter section; THENCE, North 01° 05' 17" East on a line 120.00 feet west of and parallel to the east line of said southeast quarter of said section a distance of 1165.00 feet, more or less, to intersect the north line of said southeast quarter; THENCE, North 88° 45' 43" West along said north line to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 3: Attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A" is a map which identifies the areas zoned in Section 2 herein.
