• <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. l /O/ 94 <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property located <br /> west of Airport Road and south of the <br /> Boeing Co. 's Flightline Facility <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to <br /> the City Council proposing the annexation of certain property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 35.13.130 was <br /> signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to <br /> the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be <br /> annexed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council did fix March 28, 1990, for a hearing upon <br /> said petition, and caused proper notice of hearing to be provided.; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing, the City Council has determined to <br /> annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set <br /> forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, no request for review of the annexation by the Snohomish <br /> County Boundary Review Board was filed within the designated review period; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of there being no filing, the City Council can <br /> adopt an ordinance annexing into the City the property described in the <br /> petition; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same <br /> is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> The north half of the southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 28 <br /> North, Range 4 East, W.M. , described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the northwest corner of said southeast quarter of <br /> said Section 15; THENCE, South 01° 06' 24" West along the <br /> westerly line of said southeast quarter a distance of 1165.00 <br /> feet; THENCE, South 88° 45' 43" East on a line parallel with the <br /> north line of said southeast quarter a distance of 2546.89 feet <br /> to a point 120.00 feet west of the east line of said quarter <br /> section; THENCE, North 01° 05' 17" East on a line 120.00 feet <br /> west of and parallel to the east line of said southeast quarter <br /> of said section a distance of 1165.00 feet, more or less, to <br /> intersect the north line of said southeast quarter; THENCE, North <br /> 88° 45' 43" West along said north line to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> 1 <br />
