ORDINANCE NO. 10_3-QQ <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction fund entitled <br /> "7th Avenue S.E. Improvements" fund 356, authorizing the <br /> construction of street improvements on 7th Avenue S.E. from <br /> 112th Street S.E. to 100th Street S.E. <br /> WHEREAS, on March 7, 1990, Council authorized the Mayor to <br /> enter an agreement with WSDOT to obligate FAUS funds for the improvement <br /> of 7th Avenue S.E., from 112th Street S.E. to 100th Street S.E. , to <br /> eliminate sight distance deficiencies and to add a two-way left turn lane; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established <br /> as Fund 356, entitled "7th Avenue S.E. Improvements" to accumulate the <br /> construction costs required to construct the 7th Avenue S.E. Improvements. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs <br /> and distribute payments from Fund 356 for construction of the 7th Avenue <br /> S.E. Improvements. <br /> Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public <br /> Works Director," under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and <br /> complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: The sum of $750,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund <br /> 356, "7th Avenue S.E. Improvements" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs: <br /> 1. Road Construction, Program 460 (W.O. #2362) $750,000 <br /> Total Construction Cost $750,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds: <br /> 1. Road Construction, Program 460 (W.O. #2362) <br /> a. WSDOT (FAUS) $625,050 <br /> b. 1/2e Gas Tax $124,950 <br /> Total Construction Funds $750,000 <br /> Section 5: The City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby <br /> authorized to obtain interim financing which may be in any form permitted <br /> by law. Interim financing liabilities shall be paid by the Treasurer as <br /> soon as permanent financing monies, from sources as described elsewhere <br /> in this ordinance, are received. <br /> Section 6: Severability.
