ORDINANCE NO. /140,35?:-.94 ' - - <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction <br /> fund entitled "Rotary Park Phase I Development" <br /> Fund 353, Authorizing the design and <br /> construction of improvements at Rotary Park. <br /> WHEREAS, a need exists to provide improved facilities for the citizens of <br /> Everett using Rotary Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the City to enter into an agreement <br /> with the Rotary Club, Snohomish County and the Interagency Committee for <br /> Outdoor Recreation to fund improvements at Rotary Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council allocated $75,000 general fund <br /> contribution as matching funds for this grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, in November 1989 the grant was awarded to the City of Everett by <br /> the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: <br /> Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 353, <br /> entitled "Rotary Park Phase I Development" to accomplish the <br /> actions authorized in subsequent sections of this ordinance. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Director of Parks and <br /> Recreation under the administration of the Mayor to design and <br /> construct improvements to Rotary Park including boat launch <br /> ramp, launch loading float, sanican pad, utilities, landscaping, <br /> irrigation, lighting, roads, paths, parking, signs, and other <br /> miscellaneous site improvement as determined by the Director of <br /> Parks and Recreation. <br /> Section 3: The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is <br /> $300,000 which shall include all costs related to design, <br /> construction, contract administration, plan development and <br /> associated costs. <br /> Section 4: A. The sum of $300,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 353 <br /> Program 450 "Rotary Park Phase I Development". <br /> B.
