1 Section 7 . The Local Improvement Fund for the District is <br /> 2 created and established in the office of the City Treasurer . <br /> 3 The proceeds from the sale of revenue warrants or other <br /> 4 short-term obligations drawn against the fund which may be <br /> 5 issued and sold by the City and the collections of special <br /> 6 assessments , interest and penalties thereon shall be deposited <br /> 7 in the Local Improvement Fund. Cash warrants to the contractor <br /> 8 or contractors in payment for the work to be done by them in <br /> 9 connection with the improvement and cash warrants in payment for <br /> 10 all other items of expense in connection with the improvement <br /> 11 shall be issued against the Local Improvement Fund. <br /> 12 Section 8 . Within fifteen ( 15) days of the passage of this <br /> 13 ordinance there shall be filed with the City Treasurer the title <br /> 14 of the improvement and District number, a copy of the diagram or <br /> 15 print showing the boundaries of the District and the preliminary <br /> 16 assessment roll or abstract of such roll showing thereon the <br /> 17 lots , tracts and parcels of land that will be specially <br /> 18 benefited thereby and the estimated cost and expense of such <br /> 19 improvement to be borne by each lot, tract or parcel of land. <br /> The City Treasurer immediately shall post the proposed <br /> 20 <br /> assessment roll upon his index of local improvement assessments <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> -6- <br />
