The headings used in these General Conditions of Contract, or any other Contract <br /> Document, are for ease of reference only and shall not in any way be construed to limit or alter <br /> the meaning of any provision. <br /> 13.8 Notice. Whenever the Contract Documents require that notice be provided to the other party, <br /> notice will be deemed to have been validly given (i) if delivered in person to the Parties <br /> Representative as designated in Article 9 of the Contract, (ii) four days after being sent by <br /> registered or certified mail, postage prepaid to the address indicated in the Contract or (iii) if <br /> transmitted by facsimile or email, by the time stated in a machine generated confirmation that <br /> notice was received at the facsimile number email address of the Representative. <br /> 13.9 Amendments.
