Scope of Services to City of Everett
September 25, 2017
Page 3
CITY OF EVERETT RESPONSIBILITIES
• City will provide site access and will provide the necessary permits and right of way access to
complete the field explorations without a fee.
• City will provide base map survey of the site and as-built drawings/construction records of the existing
utilities in the project vicinity.
• City will identify all known underground utilities within the right-of-way along the project alignment
prior to performing the drilling services.
• City will provide all traffic control services needed for our drilling services within the road right-of-way.
■ City will dispose of drill cuttings generated from the explorations.
ASSUMPTIONS
• This initial scope and fee estimate does not include the following services:
• surveying;
• environmental characterization/testing, or disposal of impacted or contaminated waste soil
generated during drilling;
• shoring design;
• dewatering design; and
• during construction observation.
• The explorations will be located in the field by pacing or tape measurement from existing site
features. Using these techniques, the locations of the explorations will be established for
presentation on a site plan. We recommend that the boring locations be surveyed for vertical and
horizontal control as part of the project.
• It is assumed that the driller will leave on site clean (non-impacted, non-contaminated) spoils
generated during drilling for disposal by the City. This scope and fee estimate does not include
environmental characterization/testing, or disposal of impacted or contaminated waste soil
generated during drilling.
DELIVERABLES
■ Interim Action Recommendation Letter
• Draft and Final Geotechnical Engineering Report
GeoEngineers,Inc.
File No.0661-113-00
