WSU NPSE CAFE <br /> Summary KPFF Project No. 114347.31 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This calc package includes the design of miscelaneous framing above the cafe <br /> in the WSU NPSE building. The framing consists of steel channels that span <br /> around the open perimeter and Unistruts that form a grid spanning over the cafe <br /> itself. The Unistruts support 5 psf superimposed dead load for misc signage and <br /> lighting. The perimeter channels support a retractable guardian coil screening <br /> and the Unistruts. This continuous channel is supported at four points. Detail <br /> 12/S201 shows its connection to the stud wall. 1/S201 shows the channel being <br /> supported by a hanger. 6/S201 shows the connection to the existing column. <br /> Detail 10/S201 shows the connection of the channel to the end of a stud wall. <br /> Calcs have been included for each of these condlitions. <br />
