I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1.25 TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> A. The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before the date or dates specified in <br /> Document 00 60 13 -Contract. <br /> 1.26 WAGES <br /> A. This Contract is subject to the minimum wage requirements of RCW 39.12 and to RCW 48.28, <br /> as amended or supplemented. Workers shall receive no less than the prevailing rate of wage. <br /> Bidder shall use the Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates for Snohomish County, effective <br /> at the time of bid opening. Bidder is solely responsible to use the schedule in effect at the Bid <br /> Opening Date, determine the appropriate labor classification(s), and use the appropriate and <br /> correct prevailing wage and benefit rate(s). <br /> 1. Current RCW 39.12 prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits can be found on line at <br /> http://www.lni.wa.aov/TradesLicens ing/PrevWage/WateRates/default.asp. <br /> a. Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates for Snohomish County, effective at the <br /> time of bid opening are located at the end of these Special Provisions. I <br /> 2. The rules and regulations noted within the Contract Documents are available from: <br /> State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries City I <br /> Employment Standards Division <br /> General Administration Building <br /> Olympia,Washington 98504 <br /> Contact: Janet Day <br /> (206) 753-6317 <br /> B. Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such requirements. <br /> 1. No claim for additional compensation will be allowed that is based upon a lack of <br /> knowledge of these requirements or a failure to include adequate increases in such wages <br /> over the term of this Contract in the Bidder's bid price. <br /> I <br /> 1.27 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY <br /> A.
