I CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON SPECIFICATIONS FOR PORTAL 1 REPLACEMENT WO NO. —UP3602 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Portal 1 Replacement will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Wall Street Building,2930 Wetmore,Everett,Washington 98201,until 2:00 p.m.on Tuesday,July 11 2017. At the appointed time,all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the 8th floor hearing room at the Wall Street Building. The engineer's estimate for this Project is$740,000. The completed work will provide Owner with a new Portal structure that connects an existing tunnel to an existing steel pipe spool that leads to a pipeline that extends to the diversion dam on the Sultan River. Retrofit measures are indicated on the project drawings and described in further detail in Section 011100—Summary of Work. Owner will conduct a Prebid meeting starting at 9:00 am, June 28, 2017 at the Water Filter Plant Headquarters Building, 6133 Lake Chaplain Road, Monroe, WA 98272.
