October 11, 2017 <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Sean Renfro, Everett, spoke about a police matter. <br /> Jean Rittmann, Everett, spoke about code violations committed by the <br /> McDonald's restaurant that is located next to her property. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated that a contact was made by City staff <br /> with McDonald's representative. <br /> Steve Oss, President of Amalgamated Transit Union 883, spoke about the <br /> workers' compensation insurance program provided by the city. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, provided a clarification regarding the process <br /> for workers' compensation insurance program administered by the City. <br /> She also stated a request for proposal for a workers' comp. administrator <br /> will be presented to the Council in the next couple of weeks. <br /> Council Member Moore asked if labor representatives will be part of the <br /> RFP process. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated she will verify with Human Resources <br /> and get back to the Council. <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, spoke about the Pledge of Allegiance and the flag. <br /> Aaron Powell, Everett, spoke about gang violence in Everett and the low- <br /> barrier housing project. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Council Member Franklin stated that she consulted with City Attorney Iles, <br /> and it is appropriate for her to participate in today's briefing. <br /> City Attorney Iles stated that he had conversations with Council Members <br /> Franklin and Bader and concluded that there is no legal conflict for Council <br /> Members Franklin and Bader to participate in a discussion and / or action <br /> regarding the following agenda items: proposed system development fee <br /> 341 <br />
