Please see revised strap /holdown location on sheet S4. <br /> 2. Please see revised Sheet S 1,S3 and S4. <br /> 3. Overturning calculations on sheet L4 was for worst case loading on a <br /> typical shear wall. Please see attached added overturning calculations for <br /> all shear walls. The design approach for hold downs or straps is <br /> conservative. <br /> 4. Shear walls at upper floor and lower floor stack, lateral loads has a <br /> direct transfer to shear wall below per the shear wall schedule <br /> on sheet S 1. <br /> 5. The new posts added along grid 2 on sheet S4 have a positive <br /> connection for uplift forces per note 4 on sheet S4, please see added <br /> twisted straps on sheet S4 along grid 2 for uplift as well. Please see <br /> attached calculations for a positive connection for uplift loads due to <br /> shear wall uplift. <br />
