OMEGA 2707 Wetmore Ave"ua
ne Everett, WA 98201
ENGINEERING, INC. t 425.387.3820
f 425_259_1958
June 2611, 2017
Haack Brothers Homes
Joel Haack
Via email: joel@haackbrothers.com
RE: Soil Amendment Verification Letter for 15 Fern Rd Duplex
Dear Joel.
This letter is intended to provide confirmation that the soil amendment preparation work completed for
the duplex project located at 15 W Fern Rd, Everett, WA 98203 was completed to meet the City
Standards as well as the soil amendment notes on the approved engineering plans. Per your
conversation with Omega Engineering and the information you provided, I have prepared the following
letter.
After reviewing this information I found that the subsoils were properly prepared prior to the placement
of the topsoil which was placed at a thickness of 12" or greater and then stabilized. Existing topsoil was
stockpiled on-site. The stockpiled topsoil was used as backfill over the disturbed area and scarified into
the native soil. Finally, the contractor has properly stabilized the topsoil by seeding.
Please provide the City a copy of this letter. Let me know if you or the City requires anything else prior
to acceptance of the amended soils and stormwater system for this project.
Thank you,
Rachel A. Weinberg, E.I.T.
Omega Engineering, Inc.
