December 2, 2015 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy thanked the Mayor for his efforts to obtain a <br /> contract amendment for jail services. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on the meeting of the General <br /> Government Subcommittee held earlier this evening, and he noted that <br /> the focus of the meeting was on barrier-free housing. He stated that a <br /> briefing on a resolution to modify the City's plan for HOME funds will be <br /> scheduled for the next Council meeting agenda. Council Member Roberts <br /> also reported on his attendance at an Association of Washington Cities <br /> conference on housing and homelessness. <br /> Council Member Tuohy spoke about the community support for the arts in <br /> the city of Everett. She announced that the Public Safety Subcommittee <br /> meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher congratulated Buzz and Carol Rodland, who <br /> were the recipients of this year's Richard Wendt Award of Excellence. <br /> President Bader announced that interested citizens who wish to serve on <br /> the Charter Review Commission must submit applications by Friday, <br /> December 18, 2015. He also noted that a process to formalize the <br /> designation of the Council's appointments to the Charter Review <br /> Commission would occur next week.
