Legal Description of annexation area - perimeter <br /> MONROE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ANNEXATION LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> A portion of SW 1/4 and a portion of the SE 1/4 of Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 5 <br /> East, W.M. as follows: <br /> Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Plat of Mac's Blue Spruce; Thence northerly <br /> along the east line of said Lot 1, Plat of Mac's Blue Spruce, and the northerly projection <br /> thereof a distance of 100 feet more or less to intersect the south right of way line of 110t1 <br /> Street SE, and the True Point of Beginning; Thence continuing northerly along said <br /> projected line for a distance of 700 feet more or less to intersect the center section line of <br /> Section 20 Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; Thence easterly along the center <br /> section line of said Section 20 Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M., a distance of <br /> 735 feet more of less to intersect the northwest corner of Lot 23, Plat of Heritage Lane <br /> No 3; Thence southerly along the west line of Lot 23, Plat of Heritage Lane No 3, said <br /> line also being a west line of said Plat, and the southerly projection thereof for a distance <br /> of 642 feet more or less to intersect the south right of way line of 110th Street SE; Thence <br /> westerly along the south right of way line of 110th Street SE for a distance of 345 feet <br /> more or less to intersect the northeast corner of Lot 34, of the Replat of Heritage Lane No <br /> 2; Thence southwesterly along the north line of Lot 34, Replat of Heritage Lane No 2, <br /> and the southwesterly projection thereof for a distance of 235 feet more or less to a point <br /> on the north line of Lot 1, of said Replat of Heritage Lane No 2, said point on the north <br /> line of Lot 1 also being 95 feet east of the northwest corner of said Lot 1; Thence <br /> westerly along the north line of Lot 1, Replat of Heritage Lane No 2, and the westerly <br /> projection thereof for a distance of 145 feet more or less to intersect the west right of way <br /> line of 27th Ave SE and the True Point of Beginning. <br /> All situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington. <br /> Section 2: Map Attached <br /> Attached hereto and incorporated herein is a map (Exhibit"A")which identifies the land <br /> area being annexed. <br /> Section 3: Assumption of Indebtedness <br /> Upon annexation, the land area described in Section 1 shall become a part of the City of <br /> Everett, and shall be subject to all of its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force. <br /> Upon annexation of the above-described land area, all property within the area shall be <br /> assessed and taxed at the same rate as other property located within the City. In addition, <br /> the annexed area will remain responsible unto any other lawfully formed municipal <br /> corporation to which the property is obliged at the time of annexation subject to a specific <br /> lien. Further, since the City may incur additional operating expenses in supplying water <br /> or sewage to persons who are located within the annexed area, utility rates for the <br /> property described in Section 1 may vary from rates of other areas within the City. <br />
