Revisions are necessary <br /> before a permit can be issued. Please provide a response letter with two sets of revised drawings, with <br /> areas of revisions clouded on the drawings. Plan review will resume when the requested information is <br /> submitted and sufficient detail and information is shown to ensure that the proposed structures will be <br /> constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. Additional revisions may be required for structural <br /> comments, or by Public Works, Utilities, Planning, or Fire departments. <br /> Mechanical <br /> 1. The permit application indicates that three exterior heat pumps and three air handling units will <br /> be replaced. Please identify the location of the air handling units (interior, exterior or roof) and <br /> the specific equipment specifications for these units. The manufacturers catalog cuts give a <br /> range of capacity for heating and cooling, tons and SEER rating. <br /> 2. Please submit a completed Mechanical Energy code compliance form for commercial provision <br /> chapters 1-5 of the Washington State Energy Code for the following forms: MECH-SUM, MECH- <br /> CHK, SWH-CHK, MECH-ECONO, MECH-FANSYS-SUM, MECH-FANSYS-DOC, and MECH-LOAD- <br /> CALC. This was not included with the permit application. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. If the weight of any of the units exceeds 400 pounds, and they are mounted to a floor (other <br /> than slab on grade) or roof, please provide stamped letter by a Washington State licensed <br /> professional engineer that the new equipment can be supported by the existing building <br /> structure. This should include detailing of structural revisions where required to support the new <br /> equipment. <br /> Energy <br /> 1. Economizers are required unless documentation is submitted indicating an alternate path of <br /> compliance. Please identify the path of prescriptive method of compliance per the WSEC section <br /> C403.3, or other method of compliance for the new unit(s) by submitting the Economizer <br /> exceptions listed on Mech-Econo from the NEEC.net file MECH15-v2.xlsm. <br /> a. Please include an equipment schedule with equipment capacity and economizers for all <br /> new heat pumps and air handling units, per WSEC C403.3. <br /> b.
