Violations & EMC Sections <br /> Inspection of the prope <br /> rty reveals the following conditions and violations: <br /> I <br /> f <br /> The garage structure on the property is unsecure and is open to trespass. This is a <br /> violation of International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) 108.1.5(7) which <br /> reads; <br /> 4 <br /> The building or structure is neglected, damaged, dilapidated, unsecured or <br /> abandoned so as to become an attractive nuisance to children who might play in <br /> the building or structure to their danger, becomes a harbor for vagrants, <br /> criminals or immoral persons, or enables persons to resort to the building or <br /> structure for committing a nuisance or an unlawful act. k <br /> The roof of the garage has become so deteriorated that it has collapsed. This is a <br /> violation of IPMC 108.1.1 which reads; <br /> An unsafe structure is one that is found to be dangerous to the life, health, <br /> property or safety of the public or the occupants of the structure by not <br /> providing minimum safeguards to protect or warn occupants in the event of fire, <br /> or because such structure contains unsafe equipment or is so damaged, <br /> decayed, dilapidated, structurally unsafe or of such faulty construction or <br /> unstable foundation, that partial or complete collapse is possible. <br /> These conditions are a violation of IPMC 106.1 which reads; <br /> It shall be unlawful for a person, firm or corporation to be in conflict with or in <br /> violation of any provisions of this code. <br /> r <br /> There are broken appliances and other junk stored in the rear yards of the property. <br /> The grass has grown to over 2' in height and there are blackberry vines growing <br /> throughout the property. This is all a violation of Everett Municipal Code 8.20.020 <br /> which reads; <br /> Except as authorized by subsection H of this section or as may be allowed by another <br /> city ordinance, no person owning, leasing, renting, occupying or having charge or <br /> possession of any property in the city, including vacant lots, shall maintain or allow to <br /> be maintained on the property outside of a fully enclosed structure such as a shed, <br /> dwelling, or closeable garage, any of the following conditions visible from any street, <br /> alley, or other public or private property: <br /> A.
