• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. l 6 „2.5 17' <br /> An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the City <br /> of Everett as provided by Ordinance 3572 as amended <br /> (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) rezoning an <br /> area generally described as portions of Tract 49 <br /> and 55, Beverly Acreage Tracts, according to the <br /> plat thereof recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, page 50, <br /> records of Snohomish County, Washington, 300 feet <br /> north of 73rd Street Southwest and Upper Ridge Road <br /> from R-1: Single Family Low Density Residential <br /> to M-1: Heavy Manufacturing zone. <br /> WHEREAS, on July 6, 1989, the City of Everett Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing regarding the rezone of an area generally described as <br /> portions of Tract 49 and 55, Beverly Acreage Tracts, according to the plat <br /> thereof recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, page 50, records of Snohomish <br /> County, Washington, 300 feet north of 73rd Street Southwest and Upper Ridge <br /> Road from "R-1: Single Family Low Density Residential" zone to "M-1: Heavy <br /> Manufacturing" zone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said subject area <br /> should be rezoned and zoned M-1: Heavy Manufacturing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the rezoning of said property is <br /> in harmony with the City's Comprehensive Plan and is in the best interest in <br /> the health, safety, and general welfare of the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change <br /> hereinafter set forth bears a substantial relationship to the <br /> general welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance <br /> and in harmony with the Comprehensive General Plan. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by <br /> Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal <br /> Code), is hereby amended from R-1: Single Family Low Density <br /> Residential zone to M-1: Heavy Manufacturing zone for the <br /> following described area: <br /> 1) The Northerly 192 feet of the West 250 feet of <br /> Tract 49, Beverly Acreage Tracts; and <br /> 2) The Easterly 320 feet of the South 76 feet of the <br /> North 100 feet of Tract 55, Beverly Acreage <br /> Tracts, except all the portion thereof, if any, <br /> lying within the South 180 feet of said Tract 55; <br /> and <br /> 3) The Northerly 60 feet of the Southerly 180 feet <br /> of the Westerly 208.24 feet of the Easterly <br /> 218.24 feet of Lot 55, Beverly Acreage Tracts; and <br />
