Council . Such bonds shall be sold in such manner as the City <br /> 1 <br /> Council hereafter shall determine. <br /> 2 <br /> Section 6 . In all cases where the work necessary to be <br /> 3 <br /> done in connection with the making of such improvement is <br /> 4 <br /> carried out pursuant to contract upon competitive bids (and the <br /> 5 <br /> City shall have and reserves the right to reject any and all <br /> 6 <br /> bids) , the call for bids shall include a statement that payment <br /> 7 <br /> for such work will be made in cash warrants drawn upon the Local <br /> 8 <br /> Improvement Fund. <br /> 9 <br /> Section 7 . The Local Improvement Fund for the District is <br /> 10 <br /> created and established in the office of the City Treasurer . <br /> 11 <br /> The proceeds from the sale of revenue warrants or other <br /> 12 <br /> short-term obligations drawn against the fund which may be <br /> 13 issued and sold by the City and the collections of special <br /> 14 <br /> assessments , interest and penalties thereon shall be deposited <br /> 15 <br /> in the Local Improvement Fund. Cash warrants to the contractor <br /> 16 or contractors in <br /> payment for the work to be done by them in <br /> 17 connection with the improvement and cash warrants in <br /> p payment for <br /> 18 all other items of expense in connection with the improvement <br /> 19 shall be issued against the Local Improvement Fund. <br /> 20 <br /> Section 8 . Within fifteen ( 15) days of the passage of this <br /> 21 ordinance there shall be filed with the City Treasurer the title <br /> 22 <br /> of the improvement and District number, a copy of the diagram or <br /> 23 print showing the boundaries of the District and the preliminary <br /> 24 assessment roll or abstract of such roll showing thereon the <br /> 25 <br /> -5- <br />
