ORDINANCE NO. 2986-07 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "East Marine View Drive — North Broadway to I-5," Fund 303, Program 040, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2386-99 WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received funds for improvements to East Marine View Drive from North Broadway to I-5; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 040, entitled "creating a special improvement project entitled "East Marine View Drive—North Broadway to I-5," Fund 303, Program 040, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 23 86-99. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 040, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $12,193,864.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 040, "East Marine View Drive—North Broadway to I-5," as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Design and Right-of-Way $ 2,476,620.00 Construction 9,717,244.00 Total Estimated Cost $ 12,193,684.00
