These street aprons are no longer <br /> necessary since the Port has redesigned the project known as the Port Gardner Wharf Project and there are <br /> no roadway intersections at these locations under the new design. The street aprons proposed for vacation <br /> contain a total right of way area of approximately 3,499 square feet or .08 acres and are located in the <br /> Waterfront Commercial zone. <br /> The requirements set forth by law have been met and notices of the public hearing have been timely posted <br /> as required by RCW 35.79.No negative comments have been received. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the vacation of street aprons along West Marine View Drive south of 12th Street and direct staff to <br /> prepare an ordinance subject to the conditions as contained in the staff report. <br /> 33 <br />
