RESOLUTION NO. 6 539 <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source <br /> purchase of Support and Maintenance for Bioxide from Siemens Water Technologies. <br /> WHEREAS,the City has chosen and used Bioxide for lift station odor control since <br /> 2002; and <br /> WHEREAS, Siemens Water Technologies is currently the only provider with a proven <br /> history of formulating and manufacturing Bioxide for use in wastewater odor control; and <br /> WHEREAS, an equivalent product is not available from another manufacturer; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source <br /> capable of supplying Bioxide; the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements <br /> and authorizes the purchase of Bioxide from Siemens Water Technologies. <br /> /".17/f/-7,/ <br /> Co 1. person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 12th day ; e•tem.er , ,2 112. <br /> • <br /> 0 1 President <br />
