January 6, 2016 <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to adopt a three-step process where the first seven <br /> members shall be designated by the Mayor from the pool of <br /> applicants, secondly each council member shall designate one <br /> person to make up the total of seven members nominated by the City <br /> Council from the pool of applicants, and thirdly, these 14 members <br /> shall elect one additional member for a total of 15. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> President Murphy asked the Mayor to come forward with his list of <br /> nominated individuals by January 20, 2016, and no later than January 27, <br /> 2016. <br /> Mayor Stephanson stated he will do his best to present his list of members <br /> by January 20, 2016, but no later than January 27, 2016. <br /> President Murphy asked the City administration to prepare one more <br /> press release or e-mail distribution to announce that the City is still <br /> accepting applications. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated that the City is using various methods <br /> to advertise the application process and will send more announcements <br /> this week. <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, commented on application process and <br /> recommended reaching out to neighborhood groups. <br /> Award contract for the construction of the Water Main Replacement <br /> "P"Project to Allied Construction Associates, Inc. in the amount of <br /> $954,839.80, including Washington State sales tax. <br /> Presented by Dave Davis, Public Works <br /> 4 <br />
