I <br /> Nothing contained in this section shall be construed as abating any action <br /> now pending under or by virtue of Ordinance No. 1254-86; or as discontinuing, <br /> abating, modifying or altering any penalty accrued or to accrue, or as <br /> affecting the liability of any person, firm or corporation, or as waiving any <br /> right of the City under Ordinance No. 1254-86 or provision thereof in force at <br /> the time of passage of this Ordinance. <br /> Section 4: The City Council hereby declares that should any section, <br /> paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or of the Uniform Code <br /> for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings hereby adopted be declared for any <br /> reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the City of Everett that it would <br /> have passed all portions of this ordinance and Code independent of the <br /> elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid. <br /> Section 5: Three copies of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br /> Buildings a od pted herein shall be filed with the City Clerk. <br /> 3.011151!A?./ ' Leri'-L <br /> ILLIA E.
