November 1, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., November 1, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were <br /> present. <br /> Tiernan Baird and James Wilkes, members of Boy Scout Troop 90, led the <br /> Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 21, 2017, City Council Retreat were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> The minutes of the October 25, 2017, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> INTERIM MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE <br /> Mayor Stephanson announced that Municipal Court Judge Thomas <br /> Wynne is retiring effective October 31 , 2017. As a result, the Mayor <br /> stated it would be in the best interest of the City and Municipal Court if <br /> Judge-elect Amy Kaestner was appointed to commence her duties <br /> beginning today until the election results are certified on November 28, <br /> 2017. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to confirm the appointment of Amy C. Kaestner as Interim <br /> Municipal Court Judge effective November 1, 2017, until election <br /> results are certified on November 28, 2017. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 367 <br />
