November 1, 2017 <br /> MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING — PLANNING COORDINATION <br /> AND COOPERATION <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding for Planning Coordination and Cooperation between <br /> the Puget Sound Regional Council and Central Puget Sound <br /> Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit); Snohomish County <br /> Public Transportation Benefit Area Corporation (Community Transit); <br /> City of Everett, Transportation Services and other public transit <br /> agencies. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING — 2018 BUDGET: <br /> President Tuohy turned the public hearing over to Council Member <br /> Murphy, Budget Subcommittee Chair. <br /> Council Member Murphy opened the first of three public hearings <br /> regarding the 2018 budget, which will remain open until the conclusion of <br /> the third and final budget hearing on November 15, 2017. <br /> Council Member Murphy announced that City department heads would be <br /> attending the budget hearing on November 8 to address operational <br /> questions, and that any recommended input for next week's presentation <br /> may be forwarded to Debra Bryant, Administration, or to him directly. <br /> Council Member Murphy announced that on November 15, staff will be <br /> asked to prepare the budget ordinance, which will come before the <br /> Council for three readings on November 29, December 6, and December <br /> 13. <br /> Council Member Murphy invited public comment.
