Please answer the following questions: How large an area are you talking about?South wall is around 4,600 sgff,additional areas throughout the building could range in size, minimum 6'x10'. Is there a need to tie in with existing exterior wall?Two answers; on the south wall, no.The material is simply sandwiched between wind girts and exterior panels.At repair areas the need for application of barbed plates glued to the interior of the exterior metal wall panels is needed. How do you propose to do that?The manufacturer supplies "tie-in"tape that can be applied to adjoining insulations. Will the new fix look different from the existing wall?Most definitely.The current Insulation has been in place for many years fading and collecting dust. New insulation backing will be bright white in color. Will the new wall have a different thickness?The new insulation will match existing thickness, 6" What R-value will the proposed wall be? R-Values for metal buildings in the region are R-19(single 6" Fiberglass layer) 1 5/�
