• ORDINANCE NO. 3578-17 AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction fund entitled"Wall Street Building Window Replacement Project", Fund 342, and Program 025, to accumulate the construction costs for the project in the amount of $155,000. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to replace glazing units on the north and west sides of the Wall Street Building located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 025 entitled "Wall Street Building Window Replacement Project" to accumulate the construction costs required for the project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Facilities/Property Management Director under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3: The sum of $155,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 025 "Wall Street Building Window Replacement Project". A. Use of Funds Construction $155,000 Total $155,000 B. Source of Funds CIP 1 $155,000 C. The appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of re-appropriation. Section 5: The City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby authorized to negotiate a reasonable rate of interest and obtain temporary financing to satisfy interim construction costs. Temporary financing shall be redeemed as soon as reimbursement is received.
