November 22, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., November 22, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Members Franklin and Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 15, 2017, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. President Tuohy abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Civil Service Commission <br /> Appointment of Eileen Simmons to Position 1 for a six-year term <br /> expiring December 31, 2023. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Franklin and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Stephanson wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council members echoed the Mayor's comments and wished citizens, staff, <br /> and colleagues a happy Thanksgiving. <br /> 402 <br />
