• • 1 Council . Such bonds shall be sold in such manner as the City 2 Council hereafter shall determine . 3 Section 6 . In all cases where the work necessary to be 4 done in connection with the making of such improvement is 5 carried out pursuant to contract upon competitive bids (and the 6 City shall have and reserves the right to reject any and all 7 bids) , the call for bids shall include a statement that payment 8 for such work will be made in cash warrants drawn upon the Local 9 Improvement Fund. 10 Section 7 . The Local Improvement Fund for the District is 11 created and established in the office of the City Treasurer . 12 The proceeds from the sale of revenue warrants or other 13 short-term obligations drawn against the fund which may be 14 issued and sold by the City and the collections of special 15 assessments, interest and penalties thereon shall be deposited 16 in the Local Improvement Fund. Cash warrants to the contractor 17 or contractors in payment for the work to be done by them in 18 connection with the improvement and cash warrants in payment for 19 all other items of expense in connection with the improvement 20 shall be issued against the Local Improvement Fund. 21 Section 8 . Within fifteen ( 15) days of the passage of this 22 ordinance there shall be filed with the City Treasurer the title 23 of the improvement and District number, a copy of the diagram or 24 print showing the boundaries of the District and the preliminary 25 assessment roll or abstract of such roll showing thereon the - 5 -
