• <br /> • <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO./,. -d <br /> 2 <br /> 3 AN ORDINANCE modifying, approving and confirming the <br /> 4 assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement <br /> District No . 726 for the improvement of 60th Street <br /> 5 S .W. and Hardeson Road, as provided by Ordinance No . <br /> 1324-87, and levying and assessing the cost and <br /> 6 expense thereof against the several lots, tracts , <br /> parcels of land and other property as shown on the <br /> 7 assessment roll . <br /> 8 WHEREAS, the assessment roll levying the special <br /> 9 assessments against the property located in Local Improvement <br /> 10 District No . 726 in the City of Everett, Washington (the <br /> 11 "City" ) , has been filed with the City Clerk as provided by law; <br /> 12 and <br /> 13 WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing thereon <br /> 14 and making objections and protests to the roll was published at <br /> 15 and for the time and in the manner provided by law fixing the <br /> 16 time and place of hearing thereon for the 8th day of February, <br /> 17 1989 , at the hour of 8 :30 a .m. , local time, in the Council <br /> 18 Chambers in the City Hall , Everett, Washington, and further <br /> 19 notice thereof was mailed by the City Clerk to each property <br /> 20 owner shown on the roll; and <br /> 21 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed and designated in the <br /> 22 notice the hearing was held, all written protests received were <br /> 23 considered and all property owners who submitted such protests <br /> 24 or their representatives appearing at the hearing who wished to <br /> 25 be heard were heard, and the City Council , sitting and acting as <br />
