The improvements include approximately 1,600 linear feet of walking trails, including a section designed and built for accessibility in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA); a small picnicking area;and interpretive signage. The project will be constructed through the City's Job Order Contracting process. The project is projected to be complete and open for public enjoyment in June, 2016. • RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled"South Everett Forest Preserve Recreational Improvements", Fund 354, Program 047,to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. 21
