The updated plan, to be known as the "Parks, <br />Recreation and Open Space Plan", is updated. on a six year cycle. (The department's existing comprehensive <br />plan was approved by City Council in May, 2010.) A City Council adopted plan is maintained on file with <br />the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) in order to maintain the City's grant <br />eligibility with RCO. <br />This briefing is designed to describe the work completed to date, provide a macro -level summary of <br />comments received from people who have participated in a variety of communication forums, highlight a <br />draft list of projects and categories of projects that will be subject to additional city-wide outreach, and <br />conclude with a listing of the plan's remaining milestones. <br />P�E,CO !\UA, EI DA-Tf0IJ (E,zct actio l requested cif Council): <br />Bjis1 ii0 a`tICIi teQLlCSteu <br />ic, . <br />1 `yn� <br />1i <br />2 <br />
