The proposed detention ponds on the <br /> golf course will create the necessary storage capacity for the runoff from the streets and alleys in the adjacent <br /> neighborhood. <br /> Design and positioning of the ponds will enhance the strategy, playability and character of the golf course, <br /> while also improving player safety,pace-of-play and reducing ball trespass potential. <br /> The engineer's preliminary estimate for construction of this project is $3.4 million. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the call for bids for construction of the Legion Golf Course Storm Water Detention Project. <br /> 33 <br />
