The funds are available between July 2017 and <br /> June 2019 for the purchase of electric fixed-route buses and charging infrastructure with installation. Everett <br /> Transit has a required match of$1,166,383.Everett Transit will purchase three electric 40-foot fixed-route <br /> buses and charging infrastructure. The project will provide new and expanded service between the <br /> developing Riverfront/Waterfront communities.New service will be implemented to the east side Riverfront <br /> community connecting to expanded service on the west side Waterfront Community. The service will <br /> provide 14 hours of service on weekdays and 11 hours of service on Saturday and Sundays. Charging <br /> infrastructure will be installed at Transit's main operating base. The additional service with the electric buses <br /> is expected to begin in June 2019. <br /> • <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Capital Equipment and Vehicle Grant Agreement GCB2819 with the <br /> Washington State Department of Transportation. <br /> 77 <br />
