v. No Principal may have an elected official or staff member hold more <br /> than one(1) Governing Board seat in a single caucus unless there are <br /> more seats than Principals in the caucus. <br /> vi. Each caucus shall submit a written statement to the Secretary of <br /> Snohomish County 911, signed by not less than half of the caucus' <br /> representatives present at the Agency Assembly, confirming the <br /> individuals to whom the caucus's Board seats are to be allocated for <br /> the next term of office. <br /> b. Designated representatives from each Associate Agency and each Single- <br /> Service Principal shall also form a caucus at the Agency Assembly to select a <br /> single non-voting Board Member. Representatives to the caucus shall be <br /> designated in the same manner as described in Step 3.a.i, one from each <br /> Associate Agency and each Single-Service Principal. The caucus rules <br /> described in Step 3.a apply, as do rules for selecting an alternate as described <br /> in Step 4. In no event shall the Governing Board Member appointed by this <br /> caucus be from an agency that also has a voting Governing Board Member <br /> elected for the same board term. <br /> c. The number of Governing Board Members to be selected by each caucus shall <br /> be as follows: <br /> Police Agencies (10 Board Members) <br /> Caucus 1: Largest Agencies 2 Governing Board Members, one of <br /> (Currently Snohomish County is the which must be the County Sheriff or <br /> only member) an assistant or deputy sheriff directly <br /> reporting to the Sheriff—unless or <br /> until the County is no longer the <br /> Largest Policy Agency(in terms of <br /> Population Served), in which case the <br /> two board members shall be selected <br /> as per Caucus 2. <br /> Caucus 2: Next Largest Police 2 Governing Board Members, of <br /> Agencies which one must be operational staff <br /> and one must be an elected official <br /> Caucus 3: Medium Police Agencies 3 Governing Board Members, of <br /> which one must be an operational <br /> staff and one must be an elected <br /> official <br /> Caucus 4: Small Police Agencies 3 Governing Board Members, of <br /> which one must be an operational <br /> B-3 <br /> 62 <br />
