The Committee met on <br /> November 13, 2017,to review the priorities for 2018. The grants funds available are calculated at$3 per <br /> capita. For 2018,the total is $328,500. The Mayor has again proposed an additional $1 per capita in Human <br /> Needs funding for 2018 totaling$109,500,to provide services to respond to needs identified by the Everett <br /> Community Streets Initiative and the Safe Streets Program. The Human Needs Committee proposes <br /> priorities as specified in the attached resolution, including priorities for the additional funding if approved. <br /> The criteria by which grant applications will be reviewed are also included in the resolution. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt A Resolution establishing Human Needs Priorities for 2018 Human Needs Grant funding. <br /> 51 <br />
