I also need Mr. Wood to confirm that he is comfortable with the City substituting the new exhibit A (that does list the payment per performance for the one that does not). You can forward him this email and just make sure that he is comfortable with the new exhibit A. Make sure and attach the new exhibit A to your email so that he has a copy. The reason we ask for authorization to make the swap is because he already signed the contract and what he signed on to was the old exhibit A. One way of thinking about it is if you sign a contract and then sent it to the other party to sign as well and they switched out language without getting your permission and it changed the terms of the contract, that would not be proper. Even though here, the new Exhibit doesn't change the terms of the contract the same reasoning applies (you want to know exactly what you are signing). Thanks Lisa! Katie
