1 ORDINANCE NO. /6'13'4 'c"9 2 AN ORDINANCE amending the City's Noise Control Ordinances, 3 Ordinance No. 534-78 and Ordinance No. 564-78. 4 5 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that special conditions exist within 6 the City of Everett which make necessary any and all differences between 7 this ordinance and the regulations adopted by the Department of Ecology; 8 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 9 Section 1 : That Section 2(c) of Ordinance No. 534-78 (EMC 10 20.08.020(c)) which reads as follows: 11 c. DISTRICT means the land use zones to which the provisions 12 of this ordinance are applied. For the purposes of this ordinance the following noise control districts shall be 13 established which include land use zones designated in the Everett Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance as follows: 14 NOISE CONTROL DISTRICT LAND USE ZONES 15 1 . District I R-S, R-1 , R-2, R-3, R-4, R-5 16 2. District II B-1 , B-2, B-3, C-1 , C-2 3. District III A, M-M, M-1 and unclassified uses 17 18 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 19 c. District I All residentially-zoned 24 districts including but not limited to R-S, R-1 , R-2, R-3, 25 R-3(A), R-4 and R-5 26 2. District II All business and commercially-zoned districts 27 including but not limited to B-1 , B-2(A), B-2, B-2(B), 6-3, 28 C-1 and C-2 29 3. District III All agricultural and manufacturing-zoned districts 30 including but not limited to A, M-M and M-1 , and all other 31 non-residential , non-business and non-commercially zoned 32 districts
