• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1 d1/4'—O 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 5 of Ordinance <br /> No. 1354-87 increasing the total estimated <br /> cost and appropriation for the Special <br /> Construction Fund entitled "112th Street <br /> S.E. Widening", Fund 385. <br /> WHEREAS, on September 24, 1985, the City of Everett entered an agreement <br /> with the State of Washington Urban Arterial Board (UAB) for funding in the <br /> amount of $1,300,000 for the design and construction of 112th Street S.E. <br /> Widening from 3rd Avenue S.E. to 19th Avenue S.E. ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on October 30, 1985, the Everett City Council passed Ordinance <br /> 1181-85 which budgeted $170,000 in Fund 368, Program 362 titled "Traffic <br /> Engineering Improvements" for the design of the 112th Street Widening project; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 17, 1986, the Everett City Council passed Ordinance <br /> 1291-86 ordering the construction of a sanitary sewer on 112th Street from 3rd <br /> Avenue S.E. east to I-5, and the establishment of LID No. 722 providing <br /> $276,800 for estimated costs of the improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 18, 1987, the Everett City Council approved an <br /> agreement between the Silver Lake Water District and the City of Everett to <br /> share the costs of designing and constructing water main improvements on 112th <br /> Street from 7th Avenue S.E. to I-5; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to avoid duplicating efforts and costs and in order to <br /> avoid unnecessary disruptions to the community, the 112th Street S.E. Widening <br /> project was designed to include the proposed sanitary sewer L.I.D. project and <br /> the Silver Lake Water District Water Main Improvement in a single project; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 11, 1988, the Everett City Council passed Ordinance <br /> 1479-88 approving and confirming the assessments and assessment roll of Local <br /> Improvement District No. 722 with a total cost of $283,890; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the costs of the "112th Street S.E. Widening" project, <br /> there is a need to adjust the total estimated costs and appropriations; and <br />
